Week 7: October 15, 2023
Greetings and Happy Sunday!
You all did a great job on Lab 2 last week. I believe you all finished the experiment. If not, please let me know as it would require that I go back and sample the pond. Remember, both sections analyzed the Cornell Woods Retention Pond. More information is available on the blog post about the retention pond.
Several groups had asked to share results from Lab 2. While this is not required, you may share your results on the Google sheet.
This week you should plan to use the lab time to write up the lab report, which is due October 27th.
Since Monday and Tuesday, October 23 and 24 are Fall Break, we will not have lab next week. As such, we will not have lecture this week. I will be available as usual (4-5 PM) in my office for office hours. I can also meet via Zoom if you wish.
There is an online participation question this week, due on Friday.
Sarah will start grading Lab 1 this week so that we can make sure to have grades back to you before Lab 2 is due.
And as I mentioned, I completed (walked all but the last bit in the chute) the Detroit International Half Marathon. I think this is my favorite finishing photo. Yes, I was very glad to be done. More photos on the ENE 483 blog.
Have a great week and if you have questions about Lab 2, please let me know.
All the best,
Dr. Masten
