Week 6: October 8, 2023

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend.

Your wonderful TA has been working on grading Assignment 2.  She is hoping to have grades posted by Wednesday.

This week's participation question will be in class on Monday.

We will go over Lab 2 in Lecture on Monday.  I have posted the lecture in the Lab 2 folder. I will hold office hours on Monday after class. Sarah has office hours on Zoom on Wednesdays 2-3 PM.

Reminder: Lab 1 is due this Friday. Let me know if you want the grace period.  (Sorry for the mistake in the earlier post - only Lab 1 is due this Friday)

Week 1: Happy Labor Day!

I hope you are enjoying the long weekend and the last few days of summer!  It's definitely been a beautiful weekend.     This week in ENE 480, we will prepare health and safety plans during lab.  You will complete these in your assigned teams, which have been posted to LON-CAPA.  Only one team member needs to upload your HASP to the dropbox on LON-CAPA. The HASP is due on at the end of each lab period.   We will meet in the Trans Lab to work on the health and safety plans. I anticipate that you should be able to complete the HASP within the first two hours. The link to the template is on LON-CAPA.  Please make sure to download the template before you begin your work. The grading rubric along with a pre-recorded lecture is posted on LON-CAPA in the Health and Safety Plans folder. ENE 480: Week 14 Dec 3, 2023

Happy Sunday, Several of you have asked for an extended grace period to have time to study for the ENE 421 exam.  As I understand that this exam is a significant portion of your grade, I will allow you until Tuesday at 11:59 PM to turn in Lab4 report/presentation. Any extensions beyond this Tuesday will result in a 10%/day penalty. In the lecture this week, you will work with your teammate(s) to analyze the kinetic data you obtained last week for the final lab project. This will help you decide what to do in lab this week. I will not present any new material. The last participation (reflection) question is on LON-CAPA and is due on Monday 12/11 at 11:59 PM, at the same time as the final project report (which can be submitted as a team) All the best, Dr. Masten
